# Stopping Services

When you're done with the example, you can stop all the Ladder99 services with

```bash
l99 stop all
```

This way they won't remain running in the background. 

Note: to stop individual services, run `l99 stop [SERVICES]`, e.g.

```bash
l99 stop agent adapter
```
